London's cycling scene is set for a monumental event on Sunday 26th May, as RideLondon returns to the streets. Cyclists of all abilities will embark on a series of epic cycling challenges through the capital's iconic landmarks and into the picturesque Surrey countryside.
REACT Responders have assembled a dedicated squad of eight riders to tackle the formidable 100-mile route, to raise crucial funds for the charity. The event not only promises a gruelling physical test, but it also demonstrates the spirit of community and giving back. Thousands of spectators are expected to line the route to cheer on the cyclists, spurring them on towards the finish line and their fundraising goal.
With a lofty target of £5000 in their sights, Team REACT are already training hard for the event. Kirsten Edmonds-Baily, Chris Rose, David Bullock and Phil Waddell (pictured above) completed a 95km training ride on Sunday in readiness for the event.
On return from their ride, David said "Absolutely fabulous 95km training ride today from Weston Super Mare. A great effort by the team saw us ride up Cheddar Gorge, out to Wells and Blagdon. Beautiful sunshine complimented great chats along the way and a mountain of flapjacks!"
Team REACT comprises of Responders David Bullock, Dutch Holland, Sarah McBride, Lizzy Stileman, Kirsten Edmonds-Bailey, Martyn Jones, Bruce Boxall-Hunt, Chris Rose, Luke Schofield and Mike Eaton.
